MARS Microschool is well into application season, and they are coming in daily! We are only taking a small number of High-Flying High Schoolers this fall โ so be sure you submit yours before our seats fill up.
This is your chance to be part of something truly extraordinary โ a future-forward learning community built for curious, driven, high school students ready to take their education to the next level. Don't wait โ seats are limited!
Did you know that MARS Microschool uses Rocket Drones equipment to teach our physics class? This year, MARS students learned how to fly drones while exploring the real-world ins and outs of physics โ and we are taking it up a level.
Want to bring this experience to your school? Register your school for the competition and let your students take flight too!

Congratulations to our Trailblazers who earned PCEP and TRUST certifications this year.
Students master Python fundamentals โ variables, data types, logic, loops, functions, and problem-solving. A globally recognized first credential in coding that signals readiness for advanced computer science pathways.
Students complete required safety and aeronautical training for recreational drone flying in the U.S. โ covering airspace rules, responsible flight practices, and federal compliance. Required by law and a real-world credential, even at a young age.
We are incredibly proud of our Trailblazers who earned PCEP (Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer) and FAA TRUST drone safety certifications this year. These achievements reflect real skills, responsibility, and hard work.
Watching our students challenge themselves, grow in confidence, and earn recognized certifications has been one of the highlights of the year. Way to go, Trailblazers. We can't wait to see what you do next!
Staying informed is part of being a forward-thinking family. Here are the latest articles and stories we think every microschool family should know about.
She is, without a doubt, one of the most congenial humans on our campus โ someone who naturally takes care of the people around her while somehow also managing to produce a colossal amount of work.
One of my favorite moments this year: in December, Aleksandra set her sights on reaching the very top of the global leaderboard in her data analytics program. Not "someday"โฆ not "maybe." She did it by the middle of the day. She walked in, showed me, and there she was โ #1 in the world. That kind of fortitude, that internal drive to go for it, is something you can't teach. And it matters.
But Aleksandra isn't just analytical โ she's deeply creative. A longtime cellist, she blended her own musical talent with AI using Suno to compose a piece that I now play regularly while I work. It brings so much joy, and it's such a beautiful example of what happens when human creativity meets the right tools.
And now, I get the privilege of having her join me in Atlanta as we speak about the MARS tech stack. Getting to share this journey together is what makes all of this meaningful.
This week, three bright prospective students came to campus for Shadow Day โ spending a full day inside MARS to experience firsthand what life on campus is really like. The energy was electric, and we're so grateful to the parents who made time to bring them in.
๐ค MARS Microschool learners are heading to Atlanta! Our students are presenting "The MARS Tech Stack" โ showcasing how student-led hybrid learning turns curiosity into real building: AI, coding, robotics, drones, data analytics, and certifications.
Come get practical ideas you can use immediately. This is what happens when students are trusted to lead.
Our CEO Jennifer Wolverton is featured at the 6th Neurodiverse Homeschooling Summit โ a free virtual event running May 6โ21. Jennifer will be speaking on "How to Use Technology in Homeschooling" alongside host Afsaneh Moradian.
The Rocket Drones National Student Drone Competition is held at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center โ home of Space Camp โ in Huntsville, Alabama. No equipment required. No experience needed. Anyone can participate. Live results are posted in real time on the Rocket Drones portal.
5 thrilling competition events testing skill, precision & innovation · Awards ceremony with industry professionals · Commercial drone career panel · Space Camp exploration day with full access to exhibits · 4 hours of teacher professional development
Before competition begins, all students will have access to Rocket Drones Training Sessions, guided practice time, and hands-on experience with systems and simulators โ students can learn the basics, build confidence, and step into competition all in the same event.
Units 1 and 2 explore how technology can expand creativity without replacing human imagination. Exploring AI Art and AI Writing & Storytelling โ click either unit below to enroll.
Students become visual world-builders, using AI as a creative tool to design characters, landscapes, and creatures โ learning how technology can amplify imagination. Grades 6โ12.
Learners step into the role of story architects โ developing characters, dialogue, and plot while using AI as a thoughtful creative partner. Build a full writing portfolio.
Together these units guide students through a full creative cycle โ designing, writing, and refining ideas โ while strengthening storytelling skills, multimodal thinking, and confidence.
